Limone
A lovely colourful village situated on the north western shore of the lake and was once the border between Austria and Italy. The area is known for its lemon groves which thrive in the warm climate. There are two small picturesque harbours and narrow cobbled shopping streets. In the evenings Limone offers some delightful lakeside cafes and tavernas some of which offer live music.

Weddings take place in the Limone town hall, where there are two rooms, both of which are in the restored villa. Depending on numbers, for 10 persons or less the ceremony is held in the Mayor’s office and for larger parties of 11 or more there is a slightly larger room that is used. There is also a charming open air gazebo in the garden of the Limone municipal building that can be used subject to availability.
