Hi Both, We just wanted to send you an e-mail to say thank you for an amazing wedding!  From start to finish it was planned to perfection and it was exactly what we hoped for (even without the sunshine!). The wedding venue was just as we imagined and the restaurant was perfect.  Both ourselves and our guests had a great time and they are probably still full from all that food two days later! Sarah, thank you for all your help in the planning up to the wedding.  You were so friendly and really understood what we had in mind for our big day. Your answered all our questions so promptly we knew were in good hands! Anna - thank you for all your support during our time in Malcesine and on the big day.  You were amazing at coordinating everything and everyone to ensure everything went to plan!  We felt like we had a friend as well as a wedding planner at the wedding! Please also pass on a big thank you to Mateau who was also brilliant, particulalry organising us all on the boat! You both made us feel like we were the only couple you were planning a wedding for. Dear Sarah, Anna and Matea,  Having now returned from our trip and honeymoon in Sorrento we just wanted to write a short email to you following our wedding in Torri Del Benaco, Lake Garda on the 28th July. We can honestly say that the whole day was fantastic and was beyond our expectations. Anna and Matea were fabulous from the moment we met them the day before to the end of our boat trip when we said goodbye.  We were slightly unsure of what to expect when we arrived however as soon as we met Anna all of our concerns disappeared and our confidence in the day running smoothly was confirmed. All aspects were fab from the officials, the flowers, legalities, ceremony, reception and boat trip.  Thanks once again for making our special day such a perfect one and wish you lots of success in the future. Hi Sarah, Anna and Matea, Myself and Carol would like to say a massive thanks to you all….and Giuseppe…. Our wedding day went above and beyond anything that we had imagined or expected. The Day was perfect, we truly appreciate the effort put it to make it special which was obvious with the organisation shown throughout the day. Every one of our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how well organised the day was. The Service was intimate in beautiful surroundings, Appetisers quality in fantastic restaurant, Boat trip stunning, visiting fantastic photogenic areas and then the Evening appetisers/dinner…I cannot recommend the La Loggia Rambaldi restaurant high enough for the quality of food and service provided. From the minute we were contacted by Sarah to discuss our requirements, the welcome meeting and the wedding day until end when we said farewell to Anna the whole experience was stress free with all the planning taken out of our hands, we didn’t have to worry or stress about a single thing. On the Day…although the Team (Anna, Matea and Giuseppe) were organising everything throughout in the background I felt that they were our friends and part of the extended wedding party and I cannot thank them high enough. The Polaroid photographs from Giuseppe when leaving was a fantastic gesture and we cannot wait to see the complete set when ready I would recommend your service to anyone who is looking for someone to take responsibility of planning and ensuring they had a spectacular wedding as we did. Hi Sarah, Anna and Matea,    Now i have access to my laptop I would just like to follow up on Graham\'s email   Best Wedding ever!   Our thoughts and our guests told us this during the day, continually.  Graham and I had no doubts about the location as we had visited before however we were still stunned at how magical it was.   I have listed some points below so hopefully you can give to future brides to put their mind at rest if they are worried about their day:-   Flowers:- the minute Anna took me into the florist shop I knew they were going to be amazing.  As you know I had asked for a certain type and colour of flowers to match bridesmaid dresses and we were not disappointed.  The Bridal bouquet was better than I ever imagined, the bridesmaids bouquets matched their dresses perfectly and the table decorations just set off the incredible scene   Hair and makeup:- I don\'t know where to start here.  I have had my hair and make up done in some of the best places in the UK and it just doesn\'t compare!  I had some pictures of how I wanted to look and it was surpassed by miles.  I cannot rate Natalia and hairdresser enough.  Whoa Whoa   Travel:- The lovely lady I had driving me to venue was telling us all the Italian traditions, while we were driving other people were \"tooting\" their horns and she was telling us how people were wishing us well and good luck.  She had me very relaxed when I arrived.   Reception:- What a beautiful venue.  The scene, the ambience, the Italian, the translation, i am nearly crying as I write this as to how wonderful it was.  We were also blessed that we could get our pictures taken at top of castle.  I think Anna organised the beautiful weather and we had some little white clouds in background and Graham had commented it was like \"cartoon clouds\" that  someone had plucked from the sky and just put them in pictures   Aperitifs:-Amazing, I had just come back from getting some pictures taken and the guests were over saying, try this, try that and they were right, Perfect   Boat trip:- I think you should insist everyone has to do this!  The scenery was mind blowing.  Anna again was the perfect host even with some of my more demanding guests.  I just cannot wait to see some of the pictures that were taken   Guiseppe:- I cannot describe how he made me feel, he showed me some of the pictures and I just know they will be stunning.  From the moment I met him he relaxed me, I could not stop smiling when he was there.     La Loggia:-  I hate to use the word amazing again but it is the only word I can use to describe it.  The decoration, the aperitifs, the wedding breakfast, the service was all superb.  I cannot do justice to La Loggia in this email.  I have never tasted such beautiful food ever and again I have been fortunate enough to eat in some of the best restaurants in UK.  My only problem was that there was just too much of it as I had my wedding dress on.  Graham and I will return to Lake Garda just to eat here again   Special touches:-  I don\'t want to ruin anyone\'s special day by giving these away but the Polaroids, plaque from wedding venue, picture on the screen at La Loggia were so unexpected and very much appreciated   Anna and Matea:- Again lost for words but just wonderful.  Every wedding should have Anna and Matea there.     I feel this email just does not express fully how incredible our day was.  Thank you so much, the memories will last forever   Carol  

The perfect day, the perfect wedding...made possible by Italian Lakes Weddings (ILW).  Thank you. Married on 6 June 2017 at 14:00 at Malcesine Castle (wedding party of 20) Classic Fiat 500 the mode of transport for the bride. Violin and keyboard duo played our song choices during the ceremony. Ceremony finished at 14:30 and group photographs commenced. Wedding party taken to Restaurant Otto for refreshments whilst we had individual photographs taken.  We later joined the aperitif.  The musicians continued to play during the aperitif. 1 hour sailboat cruise on the Siora Veronica (the best looking boat seen in Malcesine!) Wedding reception at Prima Luna. All of the above came to fruition so seamlessly and so effortlessly following our first e-mail to Sarah on 11 January 2016.  You hear horror stories of how stressful planning a wedding can be, but due to ILW we never encountered any of that.  In fact, we cannot stress enough how simple and stress free ILW made the planning of our wedding.  At some points it seemed too good to be true and that is a testament to ILW.  ILW will set out what they can do for you and you just have to pick what you want.  The whole planning of our wedding was via e-mail and Sarah would always respond and answer every one of our queries within 24 hours.  We could, of course, have called Sarah at anytime but there was never a need to.  We only spoke with her once over the phone and that was when she kindly rang before we flew out to congratulate us and wish us a safe journey.  I think the fact that that was our only verbal communication illustrates how straightforward ILW made the whole process.  Thank you Sarah! The day before the wedding we spent half the day with Anna who showed us around and explained what would happen on the day.  Anna instantly put us at ease and it became very clear early on that everything was in order and planned out precisely as requested.  Any apprehension beforehand that something might go wrong quickly vanished.  The likely chance of thunderstorms on the wedding day had to be taken into account and suitable contingencies were put in place (e.g. ceremony inside the castle, rather than the terrace and reception inside Prima Luna, rather than outside).  Anna is very friendly, personable and we were pleased to discover that she would be the interpreter on the day. On the day of the wedding a few showers prompted Anna to make the decision to have the ceremony inside the castle.  This decision was wholly correct and one we wouldn’t have changed.  The room inside the castle is rustic, has flags, feels more cultural, has stunning views over the lake and as it’s not outside no one is having to speak up in order to be heard over the wind.  So if you plan for the outside but there is a risk of rain, please don’t worry too much as the ceremony will be great either way. Thankfully the sun came out by the time of the ceremony and stayed out for most of the day, bar some stormy clouds and one short thunderstorm.  The thunderstorm arrived towards the end of our sailboat trip and Anna was on hand to help coordinate getting everyone taxis from the ferry port to the reception. Anna had everything ticking like clockwork the whole day and thanks to her the day ran as smooth as can be.  A 100% safe pair of hands! We have over 900 beautiful photographs thanks to the energetic, charismatic, entertaining and charming Giuseppe and his assistant.  Giuseppe oozes passion for what he does, which is evident from his photography.  His shots, locations and eye for detail are stunning. His enthusiasm is infectious and was constant throughout his 8 hour shift.  He helped add to the fun of the day, put us at ease and made the photography side of things very enjoyable.  Highly recommended! The reception at Prima Luna was amazing.  The location is right next to the lake with great views of the lake and mountains.  Some of our favourite photographs were taken on the pebbled beach right next to the terrace.  We opted for the 7 course menu and the food was exquisite.  No complaints from anyone.  The wedding cake - chocolate cake with confectioner’s custard and cream was delicious. The table decorations, flower arrangements and service were absolutely spot-on, and the alcohol just kept on flowing.  We didn’t have a band or DJ and instead went with the simple IPod with a wedding playlist, which worked wonders.  We had met the owners with Anna the day before and discussed the reception and table decorations etc.  Prima Luna delivered what we wanted and well and truly met our expectations. All our guests have commented on how great the day was, how well we treated them and how truly memorable it was.  Of course none of it would have been possible without ILW and we cannot recommend them highly enough.  If you are thinking of getting married in Italy, our one bit of advice would be to use ILW. We want to say a massive heartfelt thank you to Sarah, Anna, Giuseppe and everyone involved with ILW, who helped create the best day of our lives.  We will forever be grateful.  Thank you. Hi Sarah, What can I say ? We had the most perfect wedding day possible !! J From the moment I contacted you after a recommendation from a previous bride, you’ve been nothing but helpful, informative, friendly, professional, reassuring and prompt! I have really felt like I was the only Bride you were dealing with as nothing was ever too much trouble. Everything in Malcesine ran so smoothly and that is thanks to Sarah in the UK and the lovely Anna and her daughter Matea out in Italy. They were both so welcoming and lovely and made sure everything ran like clockwork behind the scenes. Anna arranged our ‘Girls Night’ and ‘Boys Night’ the evening before the wedding and even came along to the Girls dinner in Riva Del Garda and arranged our mini buses back. Anna also helped a couple of guests book paragliding from Monte Baldo. Nothing was too much trouble, Anna really is wonderful J Vania the hairdresser was amazing, and myself and 3 bridesmaids were over the moon with our hair. I really wish I could take Vania home with me as my hair has never looked so good. Two of my guests also had their hair done by her on the morning and were also thrilled at the results. Elena the makeup lady was also brilliant. Giuseppe came to my room to photograph us getting ready and stayed right til almost the end of the evening. What a legend he was !! All my guests just loved him! He was such fun and his assistant Fabian was also lovely, I know the photographs are going to be perfect! The little Fiat 500 drove my bridesmaids to meet the guests and Scott at Bar Castello before Anna led them to the Castle. Beforehand I wasn’t really looking forward to driving past all the tourists through the tiny cobbled streets right up to the castle but oh my goodness I felt like a celebrity and just lapped it up!! People were clapping and waving and taking pictures, it was amazing !! The ceremony was beautiful and we had a clear blue sky and sunshine. Matea translated the reading perfectly. The refreshments after the ceremony were amazing and way more than we were expecting. The staff serving them were so friendly and polite. Anna then ushered everybody down to the port for their surprise sailboat cruise on board the Veronica. Once again this surpassed our expectations ! The prosecco was free flowing and nibbles just right. Everyone enjoyed the welcome breeze out of the heat! To get back to the Prima Luna Hotel for our reception, Anna booked us the little tourist fun train as it was too hot for everyone to walk. This was a great last minute addition and again was such fun and memorable. On arrival at the Prima Luna, we were welcomed by the wonderful staff serving prosecco and canapes and again these were so much more than we were expecting ! Then began our 5/6 course meal ! The food and service was second to none. Antonio and Claudia at the hotel were lovely and Claudia set the table beautifully with all the names/favours in the right places.  Claudia’s dad (sorry I’ve forgotten his name)who was head waiter I believe, was so lovely and the all of the guests commented on how super the food was. Lots us dipped out toes in the lake as temperatures were still so high in the evening. We had a disco using the hotel’s speakers/lights which went brilliantly. Lots of our guests commented that this was the best wedding they’d ever been to. It truly was the most perfect day for us and I am actually feeling so sad it’s over and I won’t be emailing you with questions anymore L I will of course recommend you guys to any clients I have looking to get married abroad.
