The symbolic ceremony in Italy is the perfect ceremony to choose if you are planning on marrying legally in your own country before or after you have your symbolic ceremony in Italy. There is no legal documentation required for this type of ceremony which is why some of our couples prefer this option if the documentation for them is more complicated for example.
The ceremony can run as you wish it to, for example we can perform this for you as a civil ceremony (just without the legal parts) or you can let us know how you would like this to be with your own vows, readings, etc, it is entirely up to you.
The length of the ceremony will be the same as a civil ceremony as we have the same amount of time at the venue. Witnesses are not required for a symbolic ceremony but should you wish to have these even though they are not required this is perfectly fine and 2 x witnesses can be at the front with you during the ceremony.
Symbolic ceremonies can be held at all the venues that we offer our civil ceremonies at these can also be held in other locations such as perhaps a restaurant or hotel etc. There are not specific venues that offer these type of ceremonies but we would enquire with venues depending on your personal requirements and we do recommend that you have an inspection visit with us to have a look around at possible resorts/venues that may be able to offer you this option.
