Shaun and I both wanted to write to you, to thank you so much for the service you provided in planning our Wedding. We contacted you and a few other wedding planning companies when we 1st got engaged, and your helpful and friendly approach resonated with us very quickly, what struck was the personal service you offered, there were no “set packages” and we were able to give you an idea of what we wanted and build on that – making our wedding unique rather that to a set “fit”. When we went out to Malcesine for an exploratory visit and met Anna, we were just so overwhelmed with how helpful, friendly and truly unique your service was that we knew Italian Lakes Weddings was the right company to book through and am delighted to say we haven’t been disappointed. Your help support and guidance both from the UK and in coordinating with Vendors in Italy was amazing. We both found the whole planning process straight forward, easy and most of all stress free. You were always quick to respond to my queries, and deal with any problems or issues that arose (caused by me changing my mind, or making changes to the guest lists), certainly not an easy feat when we had 72 people attending the wedding. On the run up to the day, we were so relaxed and at ease. Our pre-meeting with Anna just confirmed everything and provided reassurance that the day would all go to plan. Anna you have such excitement and passion for what you do, your energy just rubbed off on us, and any nerves we had about the day were instantly diffused. The personal touches, such as popping to see Zoey on the morning of the wedding, and bringing Sun Umbrellas for the guests because of the heat just had such a great impact on everyone’s experience and were totally unexpected. All of our guests have commented on how fabulous the day was. The ceremony itself was beautiful, made even better by the great job Mattea did of translating. Her voice is so endearing – a number of guests commented on how her intonation and the way she delivered the words was mesmerizing in itself. – We really couldn’t have asked for anything more. I could write several more paragraphs about all of the little things you did to support us that made the day so special but really we just wanted to say a Huge Thank You to you all, it really was a day to remember, made all the more fantastic by the great service that you all provide. When we come to sit down and write this review of our wedding, the words \'wow\' and \'perfect\' come to mind. To think that all the planning started about a year ago is crazy. We were made to feel taken care of right away with being able to communicate with Sarah here in the UK. Everything was explained so well and she really made us feel at ease, guiding us through all the legalities and finer details of the day. Understandably, never having gotten married before, let alone abroad, we had our reservations. These were completely blown away after the most organised and informative welcome meeting we had with Anna! She was absolutely amazing. Her and her beautiful daughter, Matea, couldn\'t do enough for us. The plan for the day and my hair/make up trials went smoothly and only gave Matt and I more reason to relax, besides the breath-taking views Malcesine had to offer. Another bonus of the welcome meeting was being able to walk with Anna and get to know the beautiful town a little better. Even the most minor of misunderstandings were sorted on the spot - and we mean MINOR! Everything had been prepared and managed perfectly. Our wedding day was literally perfect - the weather, the timings, the views, and our wonderful dinner at the Prima Luna for us and our guests.  Matea even looked after my shoes all day because the cobbles were killing me! (Future Brides take note, go for a block heel and not a stiletto!) The day completely and 100% exceeded our expectations and was more amazing than we could have hoped for. An amazing start to our married life! We also can\'t complete this review without mentioning Alice, our photographer and the videographer Gianluca who were incredible. The efforts they both went to that day to ensure our photos and video shots were perfect, is admirable. We cannot thank them both enough. We only saw a few shots from Alice\'s camera that day, but what we saw really blew us away. We\'re very excited to see the final results! It was literally the best day of our lives, and couldn\'t have been more perfect. Our family and friends who made the journey for us, couldn\'t stop complimenting the efforts everyone involved had gone to, and a few also said it was the best wedding they have been to. Sarah, Anna, Matea, we cannot thank you all enough for what you organised for us. We\'re so grateful, and humbled to have met and worked with you. If future couples go with anyone else for a wedding in the stunning Italian lakes, they\'d be missing out! It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish! Matt and Emma Lewis x

\"What can we say??? Sarah, Anna and Matea were all absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. Right from the start the fact that Sarah is in the UK and Anna is in Italy meant that whatever questions we had could be answered quickly and with total clarity.  This is exactly what was needed so that we could concentrate on organising getting the guests out there. We approached a couple of different companies to organise our perfect day, although Italian Lakes Weddings came with a personal recommendation from a friend. They responded immediately and the very personal service was exactly what we were looking for. We went out to Malcesine last October to meet Anna. She spent the whole afternoon with us, meeting the florist, the hotel manager and the hair stylist. This was excellent as it meant we knew who and where everyone was when we returned for the big day. When we arrived for the wedding, Hannah\'s wedding dress had become quite heavily creased in transit and there was no press in Malcesine to deal with it. Anna took the time to take the dress back to Riva with her to drop it off at a shop there so it could be pressed and ready for the wedding. She really did go above and beyond and we are incredibly grateful. Matea and the photographer, Giuseppe, met us the evening before the wedding to go out on the sailing boat with our guests. We would thoroughly recommend this, the guests absolutely loved it and it meant they could all meet each other before arriving at the ceremony. The day itself was fantastic. Both Anna and Matea were there in the background making sure everything ran smoothly. Matea did fantastically well translating the ceremony. What can we say about Italian Lakes Weddings….not enough!! We had the time of our life’s and enjoyed every minute of not only our day but the build-up also. From the moment we made contact, Sarah could not have communicated any better, no matter the time I emailed I always got a reply, with the daftest of questions, which when organising a wedding with a big group of people flying to be with you, put your mind at ease. The attention to detail on every aspect from flowers, location, to timings was amazing and the preparation to ensure all was correct was brilliant. The planning, time and effort which was put in and communicated back to you was incredible and you knew nothing was going to go wrong. We did go over to Lake Garda prior to the wedding and Anna met us and showed us around Torri castle which we fell in love with and a few reception ideas which enabled us to choose our reception venue, La Loggia, and from this we knew we had made the right decision in holding our wedding at Lake Garda and meeting Anna gave us the reassurance we needed that we were in good hands. Once arriving with all our guests Anna was amazing going above and beyond and even took the time to take us with our 17 month old boy to an emergency doctor and chemist, something of which as our wedding planner she didn’t have to do but she did to ensure our little boy was well for our day. She took us to view our flowers at the florist before they were made to ensure we were happy with the quality of the rose and also the town hall to sign our documents. On the day – you won’t find anyone more organised than Anna, everyone knew what they were doing and at what time, from the bus we put on for all our guests to get to the castle, the car for me and my dad, the boat, the musician – everything, all was in order. If you plan to get married abroad, forget your Thomson packages or any other tour operator, make it personal with a team you can rely on and choose Italian Lakes weddings as you will never forget them. All our guests said it was the best day they have ever been involved in and they will all be returning to Lake Garda on our 1st wedding anniversary. Simon and I cannot thank Italian Lakes Weddings enough for what they have done for us over the last 10 months organising our special day and the wedding day itself was with precision and a day we will never forget, neither will our guests. From start to finish Sarah and Anna & Matea made our day so personal and relaxed, outstanding organisation which came together beautifully.
