Dear Sarah, Anna & Matea Richard and I cannot thank you enough for making our wedding a truly amazing and fun filled day! A day we had waited 2 years for and because of you all, a day we will cherish forever From my first email to you in 2013 shortly after getting engaged right up until a few days before the wedding you replied to every email and put our minds at complete ease, you made the whole experience enjoyable and stress free. Co-ordinating 82 people could not have been easy but from restaurant bookings in the days prior to the wedding to walking all of our guests through the streets of Malcesine, you not only kept the entire group together you made the whole day run incredibly smoothly.  Despite a little drizzle at times and my rather grand entrance Richard and I didn’t stop laughing and smiling all day which you can see in nearly every photograph, a day hasn’t gone by since we got home where we haven’t talked about it. We have already picked dates to come back out to Rival Del Garda and visit Malcesine Castle, it’s becoming a second home to us. Thank you Anna and Matea for meeting with us both during the days leading up to the wedding to finalise plans. I thoroughly enjoyed getting my hair and make-up done at the salon and both the make–up artist and the hairdresser were just fantastic. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them both during the morning of the wedding.  The Fiat 500 was an absolute highlight of the day not only for my Dad but for Richard and I.  To be met by so many members of the public cheering and clapping is an amazing and overwhelming feeling. The food and aperitif’s at Malcesine castle were lovely and the string quartet played beautifully, the castle is absolutely stunning and was decorated beautifully with flowers.  Grand Hotel Riva surpassed our expectations and dished up the most amazing food including a cake that we will never forget and they decorated the tables just beautifully. We partied and danced until the very end, laughing and making the absolute most of every minute. No words can describe how truly thankful we are for everything you all did for us. Hi Sarah and Anna, Just wanted to thank you both for helping us arrange our perfect day. The assistance from you both in the lead up to the big day, as well as support on the day from Anna and Matea, made the day run smooth and easy. Everything was just as perfect as we had imagined. Ourselves and all of our guests had the most amazing time, especially at the Prima Luna for our meal, where everything from the setting and the staff to the food and drink were out of this world! Looking forward to getting our pictures from Giuseppe. From what he was saying, many of our pictures were ‘Bellissimo’ and we cannot wait to see them! Thank you so much, you have given us a day we will never forget Daniel and Hayley Wise x  

Hi Sarah, I would like to say a massive thank you for making our wedding day run like clockwork. We really enjoyed it as did all our guests, especially the private boat trip whilst the sun was setting. Anna and Matea’s attention to detail made it a day to remember and they deserve such credit for the all the effort put it, being there the whole day just for us. The Fiat 500 was such fun as was Giuseppe the photographer, who made us feel really at ease guiding us around Riva town.

Hi Sarah and Anna Ed and I wanted to say a massive thank you to both you and Matea for making our wedding day such a success. We and our guests had a wonderful time and we know that a large part of that was because of your fantastic organisational skills which really made the day flow gracefully from one phase to another. We really cant say thank you enough, and a little part of us would love to do it all over again because it was so perfect. Sarah & Anna, I don\'t know how to thank you enough! I can\'t believe we were actually just about to send our deposit to another wedding planner when we found you and Italian Lakes Weddings and we were so lucky! Right from the start, we knew you were the ones for us and we are so glad we found them. Now, I like to plan things and have a tendency to ask a lot of questions and thankfully Sarah you were always there to respond, even when on holiday, if you could, you would. I wanted everything to be perfect and we had quite a clear idea of how we wanted it to be - as well as really wanting it to be personal and intimate to us - and we definitely got that! Sarah thank you for helping with all the details of the wedding as well as giving advice on where to stay and where was good for children and all the other bits too. Vania and Valentina who did hair, make-up and nails were lovely and helpful and despite the language barrier, really made an effort. We were really glad we had Anna with us to show us where places were and to help with the legal work as that is obviously a big worry especially when getting married in a different country but it all went well. Malcesine castle was so beautiful! It was even more beautiful than we imagined from the photos - it really is an amazing location. We had a small and intimate wedding with 27 adults and 8 children and it was everything we dreamed of, it was perfect. When we woke up on the morning it was raining and we kept hearing \'I hope it clears up!\' It did stop raining and was cooler for the ceremony but it did not take anything away from it at all - it was quite a relief to be cool J And with that beautiful location it did not matter. The inside room was gorgeous too so we knew, if it came to it, we still had a gorgeous location. It really is a spectacular setting! It did clear up and the sun did shine too J Our registrar was really nice too and our guests commented that it was a lovely touch hearing the ceremony in Italian and translated in English. We used the Fiat for transport and it was great! The driver was fab - he couldn\'t understand a lot of English but it was an amusing drive. It was very small but perfect for the cobbled streets. As we drove to and from locations, everyone waved, smiled, cheered - and took photos! Now, we chose the castle as opposed to other locations we looked at as we wanted it to be private - and the ceremony was and very intimate - which was good as it got quite emotional at times. What we didn\'t count on was the visitors to the castle and in the town watching as we arrived and left locations - at first we were a little embarrassed but then we all really warmed up to it and I really think it added to the day - we are quite shy but it was like being famous and was so nice with locals and visitors saying congratulations and cheering - it really added a special something. We are so pleased we had this. Our aperitif was lovely and relaxing and the spread again, was more than we imagined, we really were in safe hands. Our flowers were beautiful too. The boat tour was a welcoming chance to sit down and relax after all the excitement (and nerves) of the morning and the ceremony. The sun was shining and it was great to take in the breathtaking scenery of the lake - as well as daring to go on the front of the boat for some wonderful photos - Titanic! J We loved walking to Prima Luna for our wedding breakfast/reception and cannot recommend and praise them enough! We were met at the Lake front with Prosecco to open and sample - the two waiters were fantastic and it really added something special. All the staff were amazing and when we met Antonio at our welcome meeting, he was really accommodating. Some of our guests stayed here and said the food was fabulous! And we discovered that too! We went for the option with the most courses as Barry loves food and we wanted to try as much as possible and we were not disappointed - all the food was gorgeous. Everyone commented on how good it was. They really excelled themselves. And the cake - again, even better than we thought, it tasted gorgeous and looked fab! Antonio really took on board how we wanted it to be and we were so pleased. And the hotel/restaurant is on the Lake front so we had beautiful views. The DJ was great too and we gave a list of music we would like. Everyone was so helpful. We had Fabiana looking after us on the day and it really is true that they are discreet, they do not take over the wedding but are there if you need them. She is a really lovely person and so helpful, we were so pleased we had her there with us. Our guests said what a lovely person she is. I think she fitted in with what we wanted and the sort of characters we are. And our photographer Giuseppe - highly recommend - he was fantastic and again, really added something to the wedding, the guests loved him! It felt as if he was part of the wedding party and all the guests commented how fantastic he was! We still talk about him now and days after, we would quote him when taking photos! The photos are amazing and we are so happy with them, there are so many of them and they captured so many different aspects. We will treasure them - we now need more walls and space to get them all on show J It was quite sad leaving Malcesine and going home as the days after the wedding, we were on a high as everything went so perfectly! And going home was quite sad as we never wanted it to end. So when the photos arrived, we could relive it again. We really want to go back! We would really like to say thank you so much for everything you have done, we can honestly say our wedding was perfect and we could not have asked for anything more, it was such an amazing day. I think you always want your wedding to be perfect but worry about something going wrong and once it was over, we said how perfect it was and how amazing everything had gone. We want to go back and do it all again as we loved every moment of it! Thank you so much, we would recommend you to anyone wanting to get married away - and also Italy and Malcesine! Such a beautiful location and a dream of ours to get married since 2006! We loved it, thank you!
