Hi Sarah and Anna Myself and Chris have now returned from what has been a truly magical week at Malcesine. I cannot thank the both of you enough for making our day absolutely perfect! I didn\'t want any moment of it to end, from the tuk tuk from my hotel, to the beautiful ceremony at the castle and the fantastic reception at Prima Luna just topped off what was the most amazing day of my life! Sarah - thank you for everything on the lead up to the wedding - for your suggestions, constant communication, and for your reassurance when I may have been having a mild panic attack over email! Anna - your presence on the day was fantastic, you made everything run smoothly, the ceremony was beautiful, thank you for translation and the beautiful gifts from the town hall! The whole visit to Malcesine was 100x more beautiful than I expected, and our wedding day was absolutely perfect for myself and Chris! (along maybe slightly too hot!!) Please pass on my regards to Antonio and all the staff at the Prima Luna - WOW! They have a GLOWING Trip Advisor review coming there way! Everyone commented on the service we received, the delicious food and how our request for a long table was met at the last minute! They did a fantastic job and if I could relive it all again I\'d do it in a heartbeat! I am so sad that the day has passed but myself and Chris are already planning our anniversary visits! Hi Sarah and Anna, We are back to reality after getting back from our honeymoon yesterday!... I just wanted to email you both to say a huge thank you for all your help in creating our perfect wedding day. It was such a lovely day and we couldn\'t have asked for it to go any better and all our guests had a lovely weekend away too! Sarah thanks for all your help, advice and patience with my questions and always being so prompt and efficient you made the planning so easy and simple I had no stress, which was great!! ;0) Anna thank you for all your help at the welcome meeting and of course on the day it was down to you it went so smoothly! Your suggestion for Pedro\'s on the Friday was perfect we all had such a lovely evening before the wedding and was so great to get some insider info on where to go. The day went so smoothly and the staff at the Prima Luna couldn\'t do enough for us and our guests and the food was fantastic! It will always be a day to remember and we are so glad we chose Malcesine as our location it is just so picturesque. Thanks again for all your hard work we really appreciate it and we will send over some pics from Janda once we get them, I can\'t wait to get our pics and re-live the day! Hi Ladies We hope you are having a great time in Lake Garda - we wish we were back & cannot believe how quickly the last 3 weeks have gone by. It all seems like a dream that we were there!! I just wanted to drop an e-mail to you which you are more than welcome to share with other lucky couples who have made the VERY best choice to get married in Lake Garda & use yourselves and your invaluable expertise to plan their big day. From the moment we made contact with Sarah we realised that we had made the right choice. We had some concerns that planning a wedding in a different country with little or no knowledge of the language would be a challenge to say the least. This was not the case at all. Sarah advised us of everything that we needed to provide (the main difficulty was just to get James to renew his passport!!) in respect of all of the admin etc and stayed in close contact with us to provide us with updates on how that was progressing. The packages that are offered can be tailored to your own budgets and ideas and this was again testament to the knowledge & experience that both Anna & Sarah have of the planning of such a special day. Sarah was so helpful, friendly & patient with us and we cannot thank her enough. The suggestions which were made in respect of both the Reception venue (where we also stayed) and the photographer were absolutely spot on and they too made the day that little more special (I will go into more details of the hotel & photographer in a moment). We chose to stay at the Prima Luna - we were welcomed so warmly and Mary, Antonio & Claudia all looked after us superbly. The hotel is fantasticly modern and very quirky with the most amazing view! We were met by Anna the day before the wedding. She is so friendly and super efficient talking us through all of the plans for the next day. We were married on the outside terrace of Malcesine Castle - however the weather the day before was awful - we ran through plans for an indoor ceremony just in case (which by the way was also a lovely setting & one which we would not have been dissapointed with had the weather not been great). Anna took us to the town hall to complete some formalities, took us to the bar where the guests would meet before the wedding and also the florist. Everybody was so friendly!! So, to skip forward a bit - the big day was sunny! Anna was on hand to check everybody was where they should be. Our wedding was at 5pm which was perfect - it meant our guests who had travelled from the UK for a long weekend could have a lazy start, a look around the market and plenty of time to get ready. We had 3 trips booked in the Fiat 500 (organised by ILW) to take us to the castle! Highly recommeded trip squeezing through the tiny cobbled streets with millimeteres to spare between the walls! James arrived to meet our guests for a quick drink at Bar Costello - there was a bit of a timing issue and I arrived a full 20 minutes early to the Castle - we hid around the corner in the Fiat 500 while Anna (very calmly) moved all of the guests to the castle without James & I seeing each other - looking back now it is very amusing, at the time maybe not so much! The ceremony was held on the outdoor terrace of the castle and the views of the lake were incredible! We had a harpist (organised by ILW) who played beautifully throughout the ceremony – regretfully I cannot remember her name but she was fabulous and it was awesome having this very talented lady playing in such lovely surroundings. The ceremony was taken by the deputy Mayor of Malcesine who was such a genuinely pleasant & humble man who honestly seemed so happy & pleased for us (this is something all of our guests had commented on afterwards). The service was translated into English by Anna. After the service which was about 25 minutes we had plenty of wonderful pictures taken in the beautiful castle. Guiseppe our photographer (who was recommended highly by ILW) he made us feel so comfortable & we feel our photo’s echo this – we cannot speak highly enough of him & his assistant. Both of whom were a pleasure to be with. We then went on a 1 hour trip around the lake with our guests (again this was all organised by ILW) – this was a highlight for us – as most of our guests were only in Lake Garda for a few days we wanted them to be able to see as much as possible in the short time they were there. This worked so well & the pictures again are brilliant also. Once back on dry land we had a short walk where we were welcomed warmly by the Prima Luna for our evening reception. The Aperitif there is delightful! That was just the beginning! All 4 courses were to die for and I think everyone will be talking about it for quite some time!! The staff could not have been more friendly, attentive and hospitable. All were amazing! The room had been decorated wonderfully also. It all went so quickly but totally without a hitch. Anna was on hand for the whole day (even until the very end) and she was such a hit with the guests too. Her presence was so personal but discreet – she just fitted right in. I apologise if I have ‘gone on’ a bit but in short we can say honestly that if you are considering having your big day in Lake Garda that Italian Lakes Weddings are your people to go to. We will both be forever thankful to Sarah & Anna for organising the perfect day for us – they are total pro’s!! Claire & James

Anna and Sarah thank you for such an amazing time we couldnt of asked for a more amazing venue every bit of our day was so special we couldnt of asked for more malcesine was stunning our guests were amazed by it and having anna looking after every thing that day and evening was perfect and the management and staff of the prima luna were amazing what a fantastic venue highly recomended claudia and antonio catered for every need hope to return next year on holidays love rachel,david and family xxxx

Hi Anna and Sarah Just a note to say thankyou for all the hard work that went into our amazing wedding day.  It couldn\'t have gone any better and ran like clockwork from start to finish. Sarah - your efficiency is amazing. I had every confidence that every query, no matter how small would be answered with speed , sometimes within minutes. I went to Italy having never been before, feeling absolutely certain that everything would be perfect. Annas welcome meeting confirmed this - her dedication to making sure everything is perfect is so lovely to see. Both us and our guests loved every minute of the day - The castle is a truly magical place. The musicians certainly helped make the great atmosphere and would highly recommend them. Our lunchtime bar surpassed our expectations. The outside terrace that we were given looked so pretty and it was nice to just relax for a couple of hours after the service. The food was fab and the drinks plentiful.   I think the highlight for everyone was the beautiful sailing boat. It was certainly ours. It was so lovely to have that time on the lake to sit back and just spend time with our guests. Our reception at Prima Luna was again spot on. The owners were lovely people and so helpful in ensuring that we had everything just the way we wanted it. The two gentleman serving us were commented on by so many of our guests for the lovely service that they gave us. The glasses were never empty and there was definitely no shortage of food or drink throughout our day. MG Project kept us all entertained from the moment we arrived to the moment we left - alternating the style of music to suit as the night wore on. Again, I can\'t recommend them highly enough.
