Review for Italian Lakes WeddingsWedding 18/06/2026 From commencing our wedding research journey, having chosen to marry in Italy, we found ILW stood out from other Wedding Planners, due to their most excellent reviews. I recall reviews from numerous couples, who had used their services commenting on factors such as their responsive and speedy communications, meticulous attention to detail, and absolute up to date knowledge of all aspects of a ‘couples\' big day’. Accordingly, we were interested in using their services too. We had considered marrying on another lake other than Garda; but after a few online meetings and phone calls, we were, by then so convinced that Sarah in the UK, and Anna on-site in Italy were the Planners of choice for us. They gave us gave us peace of mind and built a high level of trust very speedily. Looking back, they not only delivered on every element, they excelled. So, like numerous others from all those reviews, we too experienced a fantastic and professionally executed Wedding Day. This was a high bar to reach, for its known fact that we can be a little challenging to please, and we do have very high expectations. We selected Torri del Benaco on Garda, principally because it is one of the few locations where we could marry literally adjacent to the Lake, rather than in a local town Municipal Building; which for us, no matter how quaint, could not top the simplicity and serenity of the Lake itself. We travelled to Torri del Benaco the previous October (2025) to ensure our selections were right for us. I was instantly very emotional at the sheer beauty of the place, simply stylish with an overwhelming feeling of a life from yesteryear. We married at Toras, outside the Castle itself which is hugged by the Lake on one side and the tiny harbour on the other; where close family and friends simply gathered around us as locals looked on at the happy event. Every moment of the day was meticulously mapped out by Anna and Sarah, leaving no room for chance or doubt. Their attention to detail with every aspect was delivered seamlessly; leaving us to just soak it all up and worry about absolutely nothing. That takes some doing and when we reflect back on our Fairy Tale of a day, and as we write these some three months on, we wouldn’t change a thing. Anna was with us throughout the day, to ensure all the third parties delivered their part; which is no mean feat. Given our choice for the Wedding Breakfast venue was slightly out of the main town, requiring transport to and from Torri itself, this could have been an issue. Instead, the beautiful drive on a winding, quite narrow road with executive properties dotted here and there, high up above the Lake, added to the magic of the day.

We truly cannot fault Anna and Sarah for the most incredible service from start to finish. We honestly couldn’t have wished for better wedding planners. They made the entire process completely stress-free, taking care of every detail and bringing our vision to life perfectly. Everything was more beautiful than we could have imagined — from the breathtaking venue and decorations to the boat trip, transport and food. Every little detail was thoughtfully planned, and everything was exactly how we had envisioned it, if not better. Every person involved in our wedding was absolutely wonderful. From the band, photographer and videographer to the restaurant owner and the lovely people who married us, everyone was so kind, welcoming and helpful. They all went above and beyond to make our day feel so incredibly special. We genuinely feel like we won the lottery with our wedding planners and the location. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect wedding day, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Italian Lakes Weddings to anyone considering getting married in Italy. We are so incredibly grateful to Anna and Sarah for giving us the most unforgettable day — one that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. It truly was everything we dreamed of and more. We just wish we could relive it all again!

Hi Sarah and Anna, Sorry we have not been in touch. Honeymooning with a 1 year old ( she turned one yesterday 🥰) doesn\'t give you a second.  We both just wanted to express our thanks for all of your help and support organising and running our special day. Sarah- you were there for every question we had throughout the process and always came back so promptly which was much appreciated. Anna- your help during our planning meeting and on the day was instrumental in the day running how it did. I can only apologise about how stressed I seemed ahead of getting married. The extreme heat and little babies didn\'t mix well and I hadn\'t realised my sisters air BnB did not have air con so getting ready that morning was very stressful so I apologise if at any point I seemed snappy or stressed. Thank you for keeping everything running smoothly and making changes as needed. Please can you pass on our thanks to all of the suppliers. Lido Sopri- the food and service were outstanding. They went out of their way to ensure those with intolerances were well catered for which the guests appreciated. The DJ kept us dancing all night and in that heat, that\'s impressive.  The florist- my bouquet and the decorations were stunning. I wish I could have taken them home. Hair and Make up- both ladies were so friendly and even with the language barrier they went above and beyond. Liam keeps mentioning my make up so extra good review from him. Transport- the fiat 500 was a fantastic extra and although the minibuses took a while to transport everyone, there were no complaints.  The ceremony- both ladies delivering the ceremony were fantastic. Please can we give an extra special mention to your colleague who translated the ceremony, she was so kind and helpful with Poppy.  The videographer- he was lovely and really helped Ste ( our photographer brother in law) with locations as he had never visited before.  The violinist- just beautiful! What more can you say.  I think that\'s everyone ladies. Thank you so much for making our special day just that so special. I only wish we could do it again, 10 degrees cooler. Hi Sarah & Anna, We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you both for everything you did to make our wedding day so special. The day went so smoothly, which allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment, and everyone had an incredible time. They are memories that we will cherish forever. After the wedding, we travelled to Bologna, Ferrara, Florence & Pisa for the following week, and had an amazing time. Thank you again for all the hard work and effort that you both put into making our wedding such a wonderful experience.
